Sukie Shek

Started off as a girl group member to evolving into an independent singer, multi-talented artiste Sukie S has been working in the entertainment business for over ten years. With her stunning voice and remarkable vocal skills, Sukie has released several audiophile albums since 2012. She recreated her own rendition of countless classics with unique personal styles, such as A House Is Not A Home, Silent Love, Five Easy Pieces, Instinct, Love in the Rhine, Hot Coffee, and Fall in Love. Sukie has twice won the IFPI Hong Kong Top Sales Music Award for Ten Best Sales Releases (Cantonese) and Ten Best Sales Local Artistes. The Hat Trick album in 2017 incorporates three new original numbers composed by famous music personalities Eric Kwok, Riley Pong, Abrahim Chan, and Terence Lam, including Before, See You Again and Completely, which describe how the couples get along. The album was awarded the Top Sales Music Award in the 2018 Jade Solid Gold Best 10 Music Awards Presentation, and Sukie received the Outstanding Performance Bronze Award. Sukie returned to the music industry as an independent singer in 2021with her new singles 100 Years Old Memo, Limited Period and Rainy-Day Sukie's Day, of which 100 Years Old Memo won her the Metro Radio Hits Award.

From a youthful idol star to an experienced singer, Sukie has a rich and colourful career in performing arts. She has been involved in a variety of performances, including radio dramas, stage plays, movies, and microfilms. In 2019, Sukie won the Best Microfilm Actress Golden Award at the 6th Microfilm Production Support Scheme Award Ceremony. Her acting and singing skills in the microfilm, Reborn, have received wide-range recognition. Earlier this year, Sukie also took up the lead role in RTHK's Below the Lion Rock - Middle Aged Woman. It was the first time Sukie's husband, Patrick Tang, scripted and directed RTHK's TV drama. Her vivid portrayal of a middle-aged woman who fell into an online love affair earned her highly acclaimed reviews all across the board.
